It is release for Windows XP & Vista only.

After the GA release the following points will be worked on.

  • Enable connection-end points dragging/reordering
  • Canvas speed optimizations
  • More DBDoc templates
  • Online repository of model snippets
  • Online repository of plugins

MySQL Workbench 5.1

This release will introduce the missing support for the Linux and Mac OS X platforms. The major goal is to extend the modeling functionality of WB 5.0 to make it more sophisticated.

MySQL Workbench 5.2

This version will get a first implementation of the functionality of MySQL Query Browser. This includes live database querying functionality which will grow to a fully featured SQL IDE. We are currently collecting ideas what to include in this regard so please see this posting here and  post your ideas on the Workbench forums. Your input is welcome!
